The Stay Rooted design is a homage to my 3rd grade art teacher who taught me to really look at a tree and to see the form and function of the branches. She took our art class out into the field facing a line of trees and taught us to see how the branches connected into the trunk and grew. Since that time I’ve always found trees especially beautiful and have enjoyed drawing them.
